Set healthy boundaries without the guilt, second-guessing and five-paragraph explanations.
Set healthy boundaries without the guilt, second-guessing and five-paragraph explanations.
What if you could set a boundary without feeling like you’re being selfish, unkind
(or un-Christian)?
You know THAT relationship?
The one where you keep biting your tongue to keep the peace…
But inside? Ugh, not so peaceful. 😅
You know staying silent isn’t really working anymore, but…
Saying something? That brings up a whole OTHER set of worries, like:
• Do I really need a boundary here—or am I overreacting?
• And (most of all)… how the heck do I say this hard thing while still being loving and kind? 🤪
Let’s be real: Setting a healthy boundary is a little more complicated than “just say no” or “stop worrying about what they think.”
Especially with family, friends or coworkers you actually want (or need 😅) to keep having a relationship with.
While we can’t control others’ reactions, here’s the good news: We CAN learn to speak up with honesty and kindness in a way that honors Christ AND our limits.
Let me show you how inside Boundaries Without Guilt.

Give me about 50 minutes, and I’ll show you when it’s time to set a boundary and how to actually say the hard thing
in a way that’s clear, kind and Christ-centered.
As a recovering people pleaser and Christian mindset coach, I know firsthand how hard it is to set a boundary when you genuinely want to love people well.
That’s why I created Boundaries Without Guilt: a practical mini-course to help you navigate difficult relationship situations—so you know how to speak up or set a limit without losing sight of the relationship or your desire to honor God.

“This training was SO helpful. I left with a concrete plan of how to share that hard thing (that I’ve been avoiding!) with my friend that keeps trying to “fix” me. I appreciate Alicia so much!” –Tamra R.
“I really struggle with the guilt side of speaking up and setting a boundary. I have some challenging family situations, and this training gave me the confidence and the practical tools I needed to set some limits. It’s important to me that I’m Christ-honoring as I share boundaries, and I’m grateful that was a big part of this training!”–Amanda B.

You’re not the only one who feels like setting a boundary is so dang hard.
Ever felt like it’s probably time to say something… but you can’t seem to make yourself speak up?
There’s a reason for that.
When you’re thinking about setting a boundary, your brain isn’t just focused on what you need to say.
It’s also worrying what happens after you say it:
• What if they get upset?
• What if they think I’m selfish?
• What if this changes our relationship?
• What if I hurt them—or they reject me?
Your brain is designed to protect you, and when it senses potential rejection or disapproval, staying quiet feels safer than speaking up.
So you say yes (when you know you shouldn’t). And convince yourself it’s not that big of a deal.

Until… keeping the peace on the outside creates a whole lot of stress on the inside.

It often feels easier to deal with your own frustration than risk dealing with someone else’s (especially if you hate conflict like I do).
But eventually, that unspoken frustration starts showing up when you dread their phone calls…
You get anxious around them…
Your shoulders are extra tense and you’re not sleeping…
And you finally snap over something ridiculously small.
(Then things really feel hopeless). 😟😟
P.S. So what does a healthy boundary look like as a Christian?
A boundary isn’t about controlling someone else or forcing them to behave the way you want.
It’s about getting clear on what you are (and aren’t) responsible for, and deciding what you will do in response.
And yes, healthy boundaries can absolutely be Christ-honoring (thankfully Jesus himself modeled how to share hard things with both honesty and love).
Loving others doesn’t mean we’re responsible for meeting every need or making sure no one is ever disappointed with us.
God gives us limits—and learning to honor those limits with grace and wisdom is a big part of loving others well.
Healthy boundaries help us take responsibility for what is ours while releasing what isn’t—trusting God with the rest.
Of course, knowing that a healthy boundary can be loving and Christ-honoring is one thing.
Knowing how to follow through when fear and guilt kick in— that’s another.
Let’s make that part easier, shall we?

Hi, I’m Alicia—and I know all about avoiding boundaries and hard conversations. 😂
I’ve spent plenty of years believing it was easier to keep the peace, deal with my own frustration and avoid disappointing anyone than to actually say what needed to be said.
Turns out, that wasn’t exactly helping my relationships… 😉
Learning how to understand what was happening emotionally, relationally and spiritually changed the way I approached boundaries—and helped me see that being loving doesn’t require ignoring my own God-given limits.
Today, as an ICF-certified mindset coach (ACC, CPLC), multi-award-winning host of The Christian Mindset Coach podcast and best-selling author of Emotional Confidence, I’ve helped tens of thousands better understand their emotions, break unhealthy patterns and navigate difficult relationships with greater confidence.
I created Boundaries Without Guilt to give you the practical tools I wish I’d had years ago—so you can stop wondering what to do and learn how to approach hard boundaries with greater clarity, wisdom and grace.
If setting a boundary has felt scary, selfish or just plain confusing, I’d love to help you find a healthier way forward.💛

The good news is that making everyone happy is not the goal.
The goal is walking away knowing:
I prayerfully considered what was mine to do. I spoke with honesty and kindness.
So… I can confidently say “I did my part well.“
And now? That means I can stop carrying responsibility for both sides of the relationship, and leave the rest with God. 👏
How FREEING would it be to live like that?!
