I'm Alicia Michelle

I’m an author, award-winning podcaster, and ICF-Certified coach passionate about helping Christians build emotional confidence.

By God’s grace, I’ve helped tens of thousands rewire toxic thought patterns and manage emotions for more calm, confidence, and joy. In 2017, a sudden medical crisis—caused by years of suppressed emotions—turned my world upside down and nearly took my life. God led me to healing by teaching me how to process emotions in a healthy way… using science and scripture together.

☑️ Believe Truth, Not Lies, About Emotions: Misconceptions about emotions can make managing them feel even more confusing and frustrating. Using both science and scripture, let me share key truths that make emotions easier to navigate, and give you the courage to invite God into the journey.

☑️ Identify and Release Any Shame About Emotions: Emotions can wreak havoc in relationships. Sometimes we’ve been hurt by them, and other times we’ve been the ones causing harm. It’s okay. Today, start fresh before God by acknowledging past emotional struggles, extending forgiveness to those who’ve hurt you, and seeking forgiveness where needed.

☑️ Start By Naming What You're Feeling: Build emotional confidence by first identifying your emotions without judgment. Acknowledge why they make sense instead of dismissing or suppressing them. (P.S. At this point, just focus on acknowledgement… later we'll get into how to process the emotion in light of God's truth).
