  1. Kathy, I was so touched by your story. Every marriage has its trials… none of us have perfect marriages. But when we are able to focus on those main things that keep us strong–our friendship and our core connection in God–so many aspects of marriage become easier. Keep the faith and keep up the hope. God is STRONG and MIGHTY and can triumph through every marriage trial we face (big and small). Thank you so much for boldly sharing, and know that I am praying for you specifically today!

  2. HI Alicia. Just run across or more specifically I should say was lead to your blog by God. Thank you so much for allowing God to use you to encourage and inspire others. It is beautiful to hear that such a relationship between you and your husband exist. You have encouraged me to continue to fight for a friendship between my husband and I. We have been married for 46 years and are still working on being each another’s friend. I’m a lot like Paul. The things I would, I do not. The things I do not, yet I do. Thank God for His mercy and grace. It is my prayer that We grow in connectedness and not just exist in the same house, but “LIVE” a full abundant life together in Christ. Do pray with and for us.

  3. Thank you, thank you! What a blessing to have someone in our lives we can call husband and friend, right? I’m grateful for your comments and encouragement. Have a great day!

  4. I loved this!!! It’s so nice to be reminded how much of this life we share with our husbands, and also what we have to look forward to. To constantly be a friend to our husbands, otherwise we wind up strangers. Thank you for writting this!
