How Does the 5Rs Bible Study Method™ Work for Women's Bible Study?
The 5Rs Bible Study Method™ is one of the best ways for anyone to study the Bible effectively because it gives a step-by-step way to understand and apply any scripture.
I call this personal Bible study method the “5 Rs” because it consists of five steps that all start with an “R”:

- Rewrite,
- Restate,
- Relate/Reveal, and
- Respond.
It's an easy, free, inductive Bible study method that works.
Plus, each of the five steps are easy to remember and to memorize.

Yes, there are some amazing women's devotionals and women's Bible studies out there.
However, I strongly believe that every Christian woman needs to know how to understand and apply God's word to her life–without needing to rely on a women's devotional or pre-planned women's Bible study lesson to discover answers.
Think about it: No one else has the exact issues and problems that you're going through today. God wants to speak to you right where you are, right now, about those issues. And He wants to speak straight from the pages of Scripture!
As Christian women who long to grow closer to God and accomplish His purpose for our lives, we must know how identify the issues we're having and then know how to study the Bible for specific answers.
We need to know how to access the rich wisdom and truths of scripture, and the only way to do that is to know how to study the Bible effectively.
In addition, Bible verses like Joshua 1:8 and 2 Timothy 2:15 encourage us to continually meditate on Scripture in order to understand God's will for our lives and to discover true joy.
Because the 5Rs Bible Study Method is simple and easy to remember, I'm convinced that this Bible study method is one of the best ways to do Bible study for women.
Let me teach you (with this FREE 3-Day Bible Study) how to create your own women's Bible study time using the 5Rs Bible Study Method.
I want to explain the method step by step and give you a chance to walk with me together as we look at how to use this effective Bible study method to have a daily quiet time.
FAQ About How to Use This Bible Study Method as Part of Women's Bible Study
Question: How do I find Bible verses to study for a women's Bible lesson?
Answer: There are a few ways. You could come up with a list of character traits to study (for example, here's a list of Bible verses about wisdom) and go through them one at a time.
Or perhaps there's something specific in your life that you're really struggling with right now (such as finding joy in spite of chronic illness) and you want to study verses related to that topic.
Besides the two links to the topical Bible verses mentioned above, here are two great posts with lists of themed Bible verses perfect for your daily Bible lesson:

Question: What other resources do you recommend for Bible study for women?
I've found that a good study Bible (with a concordance) and a journal are extremely helpful for my daily Bible time with God.
But if you'd like to make your daily women's Bible study REALLY simple, I highly recommend the “I Am Loved” 4-Week Bible Study because you'll learn a simple way to consistently connect with God.
This Bible study on love is different because it tackles the tough questions about why it can be hard to feel God's love.
This amazing love Bible study is perfect if you're feeling like:
- “I've heard God loves me… but I have a hard time feeling it in my heart.”
“I'm discouraged and need to know that God is still with me.” - “I need a fresh perspective on the difficult circumstance I'm going through.”
Imagine how easy and simple it is be to use these pre-planned Bible study Journals that use the 5Rs Bible Study Method to connect with God each day around a single verse (plus teaching videos at the end of each week and much more).
Everything is figured out. No more wondering what verses to read or study!
You'll know exactly what to read each day and how to study it!
Each day you'll simply fill out the 5Rs for that verse, plus two other sections to help you recognize God at work and release worry and fear.
And because the 4 weeks of love Bible verses are grouped by subtopic–one subtopic for each of the four weeks of the Bible study–it's easy for the Bible learning to build day after day.
Then at the end of the week, you have the option to dig deeper into that week's topic by going through additional resources in the Bible study magazine such as a “Going Deeper” coaching section, and even an adult coloring page!
There's also a place to take notes on the weekly video teaching.
Question: Can I use the 5Rs Bible Study Method™ or the Spiritual Growth Rhythm™ in a small group womens Bible study?
Because the 5Rs Bible Study™ Method and the Spiritual Growth Rhythm™ are trademarked Bible study methods, they cannot be used to create a Bible study outside of your own personal use.
This means that it's not permissible to create your own Bible study for a group using the 5Rs Bible Study™ Method or Spiritual Growth Rhythm™.
For example, you cannot create a free study to give away (or to sell) to anyone else, such as on a website; and you can't create your own study to use with your students in a Christian ministry.
Again, we created the “I Am Loved” Bible Study Course for those who would like an easy way to use this personal Bible study method for an individual study.
Thanks for your help in respecting the trademark on these Bible study methods.
