  1. Yay… School year celebration! This is a great idea to have fun with children at the end of the school year. It will give more appreciation and refreshment from the past school year. At the same time, we are building closer bonding with them. Thank you very much for sharing at Family Fun Friday.

  2. What a beautiful idea… and the “cheat sheet” for conversation starters is a wonderful addition to your post. Thank you so much for sharing to the Monday Mish Mash!

  3. What a lovely idea. How good blogging is as a medium to share these ideas and to help each other. I wish you were around years ago when I had little ones. Back then nobody knew the difference between spoiling a child and showing love and appreciation.

  8. Thank you, Jennifer! It sounds like we’re doing something similar! I love the “Celebration of Learning” folder idea. Last year we made a fun video/slideshow of our year and we showed it the last day of school. Yes, I agree that it’s critical for kids to have some sort of say in their homeschool experience. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your ideas with us! Have a great day!

  9. This is lovely!

Every year my daughter and I look at the curriculum and assemble a “Celebration of Learning” folder and photo album. I document what she liked the most in each subject; she records her favourite books from the year; and I ask her what she would like to do in the coming year.

I like her to feel like she has some say in her homeschool experience.

I love your fun meeting idea.

Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).

    Wishing you a lovely day.
    xoxo
